Cyberbullying

Have you ever heard of the term cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying is when someone uses technology to harass, embarrass, or threaten another person. Kids these days are surrounded by technology. It is OUR responsibility to teach our children the importance of online Internet safety. If they become a victim or know someone being hurt by cyberbullying, they should tell a trusted adult.

Check out this online video made with Adobe Express to learn all about Cyberbullying and how to put it to an end!

QR QUEST

Having a quick reference with all the needed information within one place is one of my favorite things!

Canva has made it easy to design and create one pagers.

Here, I have created QR QUEST. This online journey will teach you all about bears and hibernation. This one pager is neat, pleasing to view, and functional for young learners.

I hope this encourages you to go on a QUEST with your child and deepen their understanding and knowledge of the great, big world around them!

Flipped Classroom Approach

What is a flipped classroom approach?

A flipped classroom approach encourages students to participate in at home assignments in order to utilize class time for active learning experiences. The teacher becomes a guide and facilitates during a flipped classroom approach, rather spending their time lecturing.

A flipped classroom incorporates a variety of technology. Students may access online readings, videos, or websites to gain foreknowledge needed to complete in-class projects. One type of flipped classroom strategies that I find interesting is Interactive Bitmoji Slides. Teachers can create a virtual classroom that provides interactive links to materials needed for future lessons. Bitmoji Classrooms make students feel welcomed and "at home."

Check out my Bitmoji Classroom to get a better understanding of a flipped classroom approach!
