Flipped Classroom Approach

What is a flipped classroom approach?

A flipped classroom approach encourages students to participate in at home assignments in order to utilize class time for active learning experiences. The teacher becomes a guide and facilitates during a flipped classroom approach, rather spending their time lecturing.

A flipped classroom incorporates a variety of technology. Students may access online readings, videos, or websites to gain foreknowledge needed to complete in-class projects. One type of flipped classroom strategies that I find interesting is Interactive Bitmoji Slides. Teachers can create a virtual classroom that provides interactive links to materials needed for future lessons. Bitmoji Classrooms make students feel welcomed and "at home."

Happy Learning!
